Mental Health

Worship Center
Celebrate Recovery has always been a place where healing happens through connection, community, and belonging—and mental health is an important part of that journey. Learn how to build a mental health-friendly ministry by reducing stigma, supporting those who are struggling, and creating a culture where people feel seen, safe, and valued. This workshop will equip you with practical tools to develop a Mental Health Team and foster a community of compassion, hope, and lasting healing.

Burnout

Auditorium 1
If you've ever left a CR meeting more drained than when you walked in, this workshop is for you. Leader burnout isn't just about being tired. It goes deeper than that. It's the spiritual and emotional weight that builds up when we start carrying what God never asked us to carry in the first place. This workshop will help you name what's happening, understand why it happens, and walk away with real, practical steps for staying healthy, staying connected to God, and leading with joy instead of dread.

Why Addictions Work

Auditorium 2
Why does something so destructive feel so rewarding? This workshop answers that question from both a scientific and biblical perspective. We'll look at how addictive behaviors develop in the brain, why they create such powerful short-term relief, and how those patterns get reinforced over time. But we won't stop there. We'll also explore what Scripture says about renewing the mind, breaking free from old patterns, and stepping into a new identity in Christ. It's a workshop that makes sense of the struggle and points clearly toward hope.

Free to be Unoffendable

Chapel
Let’s be honest: in today’s world, it is incredibly easy to get offended. When someone rubs us the wrong way or offends us, our immediate instinct isn't just to feel the pain—it’s to focus on it. But while getting hurt might be inevitable, staying offended is a choice. This workshop is for anyone who wants to build a daily lifestyle of being unoffendable. Discover how to stop letting other people's actions control your peace, move past your first instincts, and step into a life of genuine, unburdened freedom.

Testimony

Treehouse 1
Your story matters more than you know. This workshop is for anyone who wants to start writing their testimony, sharpen one they've given for years, or learn how to help others share theirs. We'll walk through why testimony is such a powerful part of recovery, the process of putting it into words, the basic guidelines that keep it focused, and how the T.E.A.M. framework supports a healthy testimony culture in your CR. Come ready to be encouraged, equipped, and maybe a little inspired to tell what God has done in your life.

Engaging Young Adults

Treehouse 3
Young adults want something real. They're not looking for a program. They're looking for a place where they belong, where people are honest, and where healing is actually possible. This workshop digs into what makes this generation tick, what gets in the way of connection, and how Celebrate Recovery is uniquely positioned to meet them with hope. You'll walk away with practical, relational, and cultural strategies to start building the kinds of spaces where young adults can show up, stay, and grow.
Also available Wednesday at 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Guidelines

Classroom 151
The Celebrate Recovery group guidelines might seem like a formality, but they are actually one of the most powerful things we do. They create the kind of safety that makes honesty possible. This workshop unpacks why the guidelines matter, how to follow them well, and what can go wrong when they're not taken seriously. Whether you're new to leading a small group or you've been doing it for years, this is a great reminder of why the foundation we build on matters so much.
