Why Hang-Ups Matter

Worship Center

There’s a secret in recovery we rarely talk about: identifying your hangups is what separates surviving from thriving. Every hangup starts with a hurt, an emotion, and a false story we come to believe—but once we see the pattern, we can take those lies captive and replace them with truth. This is the path from reaction to real freedom.

Staying Free In Relationships: Breaking Cycles, Building Connection

Auditorium 1

Our relationships have the power to heal us or to keep us stuck. This workshop is about understanding the cycles we fall into, why we pursue or withdraw when things get hard, and how to move toward the kind of honest, vulnerable connection that actually leads to healing. Drawing on Scripture and relational research, you'll walk away with a clearer picture of what's happening beneath the surface in your relationships and practical tools for building something healthier, one honest conversation at a time.

Free Of The Ditch

Auditorium 2
Getting out of the ditch is one thing; staying out is another. If you've ever wondered why it's so easy to drift back into old habits, join us as we explore practical, hope-filled truths that help you keep moving forward instead of circling back. Discover how God leads us into lasting freedom so we don't just escape the ditch; we learn to leave it behind.

Freedom To Make Choices

Chapel
Real recovery can't be forced. This workshop takes an honest look at what happens when we try to control someone else's healing, and why it usually backfires. Drawing from both Scripture and behavioral science, we'll explore the difference between healthy accountability and unhealthy control, why personal ownership matters so much in the recovery process, and how you can encourage the people you lead to take the wheel of their own journey in Christ. It's practical, it's grounded, and it just might change the way you approach your group.

Sustaining The Spark

Treehouse 1

There's a reason Revelation 2 talks about losing your first love. The spark in recovery is real, and it can fade. This workshop is about keeping it alive. We'll look honestly at why leaders and participants start to drift, what the warning signs look like, and what it takes to stay intentional in both your personal recovery and your ministry. When you stay connected to Jesus, the spark doesn't have to go out. It can grow into something steady and lasting that fuels both your life and the people you serve.

Freedom That Costs Everything

Treehouse 2
Recovery costs something. It cost pride, excuses, secrets, and a way of life that wasn't working. This workshop doesn't sugarcoat that. But it also tells the other side of the story: what you gain is worth far more than what you give up. Together we'll look at why surrender, honesty, and accountability are at the heart of lasting freedom, and how God has a way of redeeming the very things we were most afraid to let go. If you're in recovery or leading others through it, this is a conversation about why the cost is worth every bit of it.

Engaging Young Adults

Treehouse 3
Young adults want something real. They're not looking for a program. They're looking for a place where they belong, where people are honest, and where healing is actually possible. This workshop digs into what makes this generation tick, what gets in the way of connection, and how Celebrate Recovery is uniquely positioned to meet them with hope. You'll walk away with practical, relational, and cultural strategies to start building the kinds of spaces where young adults can show up, stay, and grow.
Also available Thursday at 3:45 - 4:45 pm

Guidelines

Classroom 151
The Celebrate Recovery group guidelines might seem like a formality, but they are actually one of the most powerful things we do. They create the kind of safety that makes honesty possible. This workshop unpacks why the guidelines matter, how to follow them well, and what can go wrong when they're not taken seriously. Whether you're new to leading a small group or you've been doing it for years, this is a great reminder of why the foundation we build on matters so much.
